Join us at Turnip Green Creative Reuse and explore the art form of printmaking through discovery and play in this 6-week series workshop on beginner printmaking. During this series, our talented instructor, Sarah Edmonds, will teach you the three basic methods: monotype printmaking techniques, traditional printmaking by hand, and relief printing using TGCR’s printing press. In this workshop, you will make your own monotypes, image transfers, and will carve 3-6 of your own relief blocks (using rubber erasers and linoleum carving blocks), and have the opportunity to print your art on a variety of paper and textiles. You'll be able to walk away from this course with the knowledge to self-produce your very own prints.
