In this class, you’ll learn how to cut an old t-shirt into yards of yarn and upcycle it into an oval crocheted rug for your kitchen, bathroom or bedroom. Knowing how to crochet is not required as the instructor will demonstrate.

For this class, three things are needed: 1. a crochet hook in M/N, (N/P), 12 mm (no corresponding letter size and the instructor’s personal favorite) or P/Q; 2. clean, light-colored t-shirts and 3. fabric shears. The instructor will have all these items for use in class if you don’t.
