Learn how to start making recycled paper with just a few simple household tools! In this class, participants will create their own mould & deckle and learn how to create paper from scratch. Participants will learn different techniques to make each paper unique! Everyone will leave with a variety of sheets, as well as tools to continue their papermaking journey at home.

Maddy Underwood is a designer and printmaker from Nashville, TN. After graduating from Washington University in St. Louis in 2019, she interned at Hatch Show Print and then worked at Third Man Records. She is interested in what debris has to say about a place and how to explore that through methods like papermaking and letterpress.
